현재와 현재진행 - UNIT 1 ~ 10

 

시제 : 말하는 시간을 중심으로 사건이 일어난 시간의 앞뒤를 표시하는 문법 범주

 

be동사(am/is/are)
He is a student.
He is at shcool.
He is full. 그는 배부르다.(긍정)
He is not hungry. 그는 배고프지 않다.(부정)
She is from China.
Is she from China?

현재진행 시제 
She is making a cake
He is eating lunch

He is not driving

Is it raining?

현재 시제

주어가 he/she/it 등 3인칭단수일때 동사 끝에 -s를 붙인다.

They like holidays.
He drives to work every morning.

She likes fish.

He does not like fish.

1. 반복적으로 일어나는 일에 대해 말할 때 현재 시제를쓴다. p26
I often meet my firends on Fridays.
We go to the movies every weekend

2. 일반적인 사실에 대해 말할 때도 현재 시제를 쓴다. p26
Mexicans speak Spanish

That store sells fresh fruit. Let's go there

 

4. 변하지 않는 사실 또는 과학적인 사실을 말할 때도 현재 시제를 쓴다. p26

The sun rises in the east.
